Who We Are

Why I Started

I’ve always had a head full of ideas, a creative streak, and a soft spot for a good t-shirt with something to say. One day, I finally said: It’s time.

Time to build something real.

Time to honor the entrepreneurial spirit I inherited from my late father.

Time to put some of my own words into the world—and maybe help others express themselves, too.

 

My Motivation

There have been plenty of moments when I wanted to quit. But then I think of my dad—and I look at my daughter Michaela—and I keep going. This business is part heart, part hustle, and all love. It’s my way of creating something that matters, not just for me, but for them too.

 

The Power of Words

Friendly AF started with one idea: that what we wear can make someone smile, feel seen, or even start a conversation. A shirt can be your mood, your message, or your little moment of rebellion against silence. I’ve always believed that words matter—and sometimes, they belong on a tee.

Meet Michaela – The Heart of Chaela’s Corner

Michaela is my energetic, imaginative, beautifully wired 6-year-old with ADHD. Parenting her has opened my eyes to what neurodiverse kids need—and how powerful the right support can be.

That’s why I created Chaela’s Corner, a curated collection of sensory-friendly tools, calming fidgets, comfy tees, and supportive products for kids like Michaela (and the grown-ups who love them). If it’s in this collection, it’s either something we’ve used and loved, something similar to what’s worked for us, or something we’re genuinely excited to try based on what we’ve learned along the way.
